4-Ingredient Superfood Smoothie

A creamy, antioxidant-packed powerhouse that tastes like a berry milkshake but fuels your body like a green juice. This vibrant smoothie is naturally sweetened and ready in under 5 minutes for the perfect on-the-go breakfast or post-workout refuel.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk or milk of choice
  • 1 large ripe banana frozen for best texture
  • 1 cup frozen mixed berries strawberries, blueberries, raspberries
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds or flaxseed meal

Method
 

  1. Add the almond milk, frozen banana, frozen berries, and chia seeds to a high-speed blender.
  2. Blend on high for 45–60 seconds until completely smooth and creamy.
  3. Scrape down the sides with a spatula and blend for an additional 10 seconds if needed.
  4. Pour into a tall glass and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Boost it: Add a scoop of vanilla protein powder or a handful of spinach for extra greens without changing the taste.
  • Thickness: For a thicker "nice cream" bowl, use less liquid. For a thinner drink, add more milk 1 tablespoon at a time.
  • Prep ahead: Freeze your banana and berries in a zip-lock bag so you can dump and blend in the morning.
  • Sweetness: If your berries are tart, add 1 teaspoon of maple syrup or honey.
