Method
- Add all ingredients except the sweetener into a high-speed blender.
- Blend on high for 45–60 seconds until completely smooth and frothy.
- Taste the smoothie and blend in honey or maple syrup if extra sweetness is desired.
- Pour into two glasses and serve immediately over ice if preferred.
- Garnish with a pinch of turmeric or an orange wheel for a pretty finish.
Notes
- For a colder, thicker texture, use frozen orange segments or add 1/2 cup of ice.
- Reduce the grapefruit if you prefer a less tart flavor.
- This smoothie is best consumed fresh, but it can be stored in an airtight jar in the fridge for up to 24 hours (shake well before drinking).
- Swap Greek yogurt for a dairy-free alternative to keep it vegan.
