Ingredients

  • 4 cups seedless watermelon cubed and frozen
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt or dairy-free alternative
  • 1/2 cup cold water or coconut water
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup optional, adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • A few fresh mint leaves for garnish

Method

  1. Add the frozen watermelon cubes, Greek yogurt, cold water, honey (if using), and lime juice to a high-speed blender.
  2. Blend on high speed for 1 to 2 minutes until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy, stopping to scrape down the sides if needed.
  3. Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness by adding more honey or lime juice as desired, then blend briefly again.
  4. Pour the smoothie evenly into two tall glasses.
  5. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and serve immediately for the best flavor and texture.

Notes

  • For a thicker smoothie, use more frozen watermelon and less liquid; for a thinner consistency, add more water or coconut water.
  • If you don't have frozen watermelon, use fresh watermelon and add 1 cup of ice cubes to the blender.
  • To make this smoothie vegan, simply substitute the Greek yogurt with a plant-based yogurt (like coconut or almond).
  • For an extra kick, add a small piece of fresh ginger or a pinch of chili powder before blending.
